PAD Mechanical has been in business since 1999 the focus was on having a mobile aircraft polishing business, specializing in polishing the bare aluminum surfaces, such as the leading edge, engine nacelles on corporate jets as well as other aluminum surfaces and painted surfaces. We put together “The PAD Mechanical Polishing System and Tool” that is based on an aircraft engineered polishing system and procedures. Using this we brought forward an idea that if it was good for the aviation industry it must be good for non aviation, such as Airstream Travel Trailers, and Big Trucks with their shiny wheels, fuel tanks and more.
We currently do not provide this polishing service, but our expertise in this polishing industry has developed “The Nutrunner Polishing Tool and Replacement Pads” that aids or compliments the polishing of a Big Truck aluminum rims, specifically the aluminum surface around the lug nuts, one of the hardest and time-consuming parts to polish.
The owner operator of PAD Mechanical has extensive experiences in polishing alclad aluminum surfaces from a previous employment with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft which later, Boeing Aircraft purchased. McDonnell Douglas Aircraft no longer exist, but the memories of all the former employes lives on, including the aircraft that they built, DC 8, DC 9, DC 10 just to mention some.
“The Nutrunner Polishing Tool and Pads” have both Canadian and US Patent rights.
“PAD Mechanical” is Trademark Pending.
